Glorifying God, In Community, While Pursuing Academic Excellence

Our Story

The Story of GCA: A Vision from God

During the uncertainty of COVID-19, God brought together a small group of homeschooling families with a shared desire—to create a place where children could learn, grow, and thrive in a Christ-centered environment. What began as a simple gathering in a home soon became something much bigger than we could have imagined.

In that first season, we offered science, writing, Spanish, and art for K-8th graders, and it was a beautiful time of learning, fellowship, and faith. God provided in ways we never expected, meeting every need during such a challenging season.

Over the next two years, we grew from one house to two, then to three, welcoming 75 students every Wednesday. God’s hand was evident as friendships flourished—not just among the children, but also among the parents. Prayer meetings, Bible studies, and deep connections became the heartbeat of our community.

After three years, we found ourselves outgrowing our space. The need for more classes and high school teachers became clear, but we knew we had to seek the Lord before moving forward. We took a year off to pray, seek wisdom, and listen for His direction.

And God was moving.

Behind the scenes, He was stirring hearts, drawing teachers, providing a building, and forming a leadership team. He gave us a clear vision built on three pillars: God First, Community, and Academics. In His divine orchestration, He also connected us with another homeschool co-op that was closing its doors, allowing us to inherit their tax-exempt status, resources, and supplies—a testament to His perfect provision.

God is in the details. He gave the vision, He gathered the community, and He continues to build and bless GCA. As a board, we faithfully meet to pray for wisdom and direction in stewarding this growing ministry.

All glory to God—who is doing and will continue to do more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine! ??? (Ephesians 3:20)
